We are just minutes from Assateague Island National Park which is famous for it's wild ponies, birdwatching, hiking or just a long walk on the beach. Of course, Ocean City, MD is just 10 miles away where there are 12 miles of white pristine beaches to welcome you for a day of sun and fun. While there take a walk on the famous boardwalk and enjoy the many varieties of food (most especially the famous Maryland seafood).

While here, there are many day trips that will fill the interest of any visitor. Washington, D.C. is just to our west approximately three hours away. While enroute, stop off in St. Michaels and visit the Maritime Museum, or the Naval Academy in Annapolis. If the "birds" are in town, visit Camden Yards in Baltimore or visit the Inner Harbor. If a day at the casino is on your list, there are two just an hour away in Delaware, or take a ferry ride to Atlantic City, N.J.
