Swiss Mountain Village is an "Interval Ownership" resort, which also offers daily and weekly rentals. The log cabins at Swiss Mountain Village are built of natural materials that blend into the surrounding environment. Cabin walls are made of rough-hewn logs, complemented by a native stone fireplace. The Swiss chalets feature a unique architectural design. The stairway to the loft actually takes you over the stone fireplace.
All of our units are completely furnished with towels, linens, complete kitchens, and washers & dryers. One-bedroom units have a queen-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa. Two-bedroom units have either a queen-size bed and two twin beds, or two queen-size beds.
The loft units have one bedroom with a queen-size bed, and two twin beds in the loft. Some loft units have a half bath in the loft. Our three bedroom unit has two bedrooms each with a queen-size bed, and a third bedroom with a full-size sleeper sofa. This is the only unit with two full bathrooms. Finally, our studio units have one room with a queen-size bed, a queen-size sleeper sofa, a four place dining table, and the kitchen, all in one room.
There is nothing fancy about Swiss Mountain Village. Our style leans more towards comfortable mountain home, than bright modern condo. Our log cabins and chalets have two to four units per building. Each unit has a front porch with two rocking chairs.
Our property is nestled in a small valley, with two spring fed ponds; the larger of the two is stocked with rainbow trout during the warmer months. Mallard ducks call Swiss Mountain Village home, living here year-round, and waddling around the entire property. Our buildings are spread out over twelve acres on the side of the mountain.
