AMDETUR

The Mexican Association of Tourist Developers, AMDETUR born as a result of continuous and rapid growth of the tourism development in Mexico and the need for a single common front to seek consultation and joint work between the authorities and the private sector to regulate criteria and define an appropriate regulatory framework that would allow the tourism industry to promote real estate in Mexico.

With the support of the 8 founding members and Developers Association of Tourist Developers Timeshare Puerto Vallarta, Bancomer, Grupo Costamex, Grupo ICA, Interval International, Lexes Enterprises, Resort Condominiums International, Shell Remic Promotora, AMDETUR is constituted on 13 July 1987 and to date we have over 250 members, among whom are investors and tourism developers, marketers, managers, operators, real estate, exchange companies, law firms and law consultants. Currently, AMDETUR represents 90% of the tourism development in Mexico and is comprised of the following sectors:

1.Timeshare Real Estate and Vacation Rental

2. Condominium Property

3.Megadevelopments and comprehensive development including golf courses
