Multi Resort Ownership Plan – Owner’s Resort and Exchange, Inc. (
MROP ORE) is a timeshare firm since 1974. The company became independent in 1983 and changed its name to Multi Resort Ownership Plan.
MROP (Multi-Resort Ownership Program) is a timeshare developer with over 40 resorts throughout the United States. MROP timeshare owners purchase a floating, deeded timeshare week with annual usage privileges at any one of the resorts in the MROP network.
ORE (Owner's Resort and Exchange) serves as the management company for the MROP resorts, including managing the MROP exchange program scheduling and reservations.
MROP has exchange affiliations with both RCI and Interval International, though not all resorts belong to both networks.
Multi Resort Ownership Plan, Inc. owners have priority into MROP owned resorts through the MROP Annual Scheduling Process. If members wish to vacation at one of the non-MROP resorts, they ask for a reservation for one of them. If they do not wish to vacation at one, they are given a unit to 'deposit' with RCI for another location. Owners' Resorts and Exchange, Inc. (ORE) is the parent company to MROP.
